Lukas Robinson Reaches 888poker PNOC Main Event Day 2
PokerNews Ambassador Lukas Robinson Advances to Day 2 of 888poker PNOC Main Event
The 2025 PokerNews Online Championship (PNOC) Mystery Bounty Main Event at 888poker has a $300,000 guaranteed prize pool. With only a few $215 buy-in Day 1 flights remaining, time is running out to participate in this lucrative event.
For the guarantee to be met, the Main Event requires 1,500 entries. So far, 766 players have registered across 15 completed flights, with just 88 making it through to Day 2. Among those advancing is 888poker ambassador Ian “Simpioni” Simpson, who bagged 112,328 chips, placing him in the top 25% of survivors.
PokerNews ambassador Lukas “RobinPoker” Robinson also navigated the Day 1 minefield, albeit with a shorter stack of 43,698 chips (around 18 big blinds). When Day 2 kicks off at 9:30 p.m. GMT on February 24, Robinson will need to get to work rebuilding his stack. You can follow Robinson and Simpson’s Day 2 progress on their respective Twitch channels.
Overlay Looming for Main Event?
With only 766 entries so far from 15 Day 1 flights, an overlay on the $300,000 guarantee seems likely. The remaining six starting flights need to attract at least 734 more entries to hit the target, which is nearly double the average turnout of completed flights. While a tall order, this potential overlay increases the value for those who have or do enter.
Remaining Day 1 Flights:
– Friday, Feb 21 at 7 p.m. GMT
– Saturday, Feb 22 at 4 p.m. & 7 p.m. GMT
– Sunday, Feb 23 at 2 p.m., 5 p.m. & 8 p.m. GMT
Satellites, including freerolls for those looking for an incredible ROI, are running around the clock for the Main Event.
Current PNOC Main Event Top 10
The chip leaders have remained relatively unchanged since the last update. Montenegro’s “K1llGriffith” still leads with 217,469 chips, just ahead of Brazil’s “WHATaDREAM” (209,681) and Denmark’s “abagnalejr” (206,238) in second and third place respectively. Only four big blinds separate the top three stacks.
Other PNOC Results So Far
Twenty-two PNOC events have already crowned champions, with more still to come. The largest single prize so far went to “El_hombre,” who won $13,823 after taking down the $100,000 Guaranteed Opening Event PKO. However, this record is likely to be eclipsed by the $30,000 jackpot bounty awaiting in the $300K Main Event.
Upcoming PNOC Events
The action continues this weekend with 15 more PNOC events on the schedule, including the $50,000 Guaranteed THE PKO Rumble and $30,000 Guaranteed Big Shot High Roller on Sunday.
